Does information via an app stay online forever?

I think I understand that information on the web is eternal but what about an app? It too is online but does it have a URL that allows it to stay forever? Does URL even matter? If this information does stay online how likely is it for people to search for it? I am a very secure person and it gives me nightmares thinking data of anything can be searched of me. Please relief me.
