I am deathly afraid of snakes?!?!?

I would rather DIE then touch any type of snake. Even the name makes me scared. If I ever laid eyes on a snake I think I might have a heart attack and die(I'm serious I think that would really happen). I feel like nobody knows how much they scare me!!! I can't even look at pictures of them. I remember every snake I have seen in my whole life very clearly. Also, when I am dreaming and I see a snake in my dream, I then know I'm dreaming and I wake up. They always show up in my dreams and turn them into a nightmare! I then wake up and can't sleep! Help it's summer in Texas and there are a lot of snakes here! What is my fear called and is it normal????
