Will a husband read if his wife asks him to?

He's a great husband and I love him very much. He's 34 and mostly watches sports or plays xbox when he's not working. He will read online about his sports teams or maybe a magazine like Maxim if I buy it for him. But I wanted him to read some real books too. He has to read and write for work so he doesn't like to read a lot at home. But he has agreed to read some books I suggest because I want him to be fulfilled and open minded in life. How many books is reasonable to ask him to read and how often? What kind of books will a man read? He will do this to make me happy but I don't want to make him stressed.
