I need some dream help?

I had a dream that I was in my upstairs living room and there was a small forest green snake in there. My four year old brother was there, too, I picked him up, and the snake started chasing me in circles. After a few minutes I ran down the stairs and told my mom about it. The snake didn't follow me. She said I would have to live with it for a few days until she called an exterminator to set snake traps. And I started throwing a temper tantrum. I'm pretty sure this means something, but I'm not sure what. My brother is in all my nightmares and we are always in a life/death situation. He is very important to me, and he is the only thing in this world that I love. He helped me get through tough times by me convincing myself that he wouldn't get by without me.
