Where can I find an introductory linguistics study guide of some sort?

One that explains like "In the study of pragmatics... Gricean maxims are..." "In syntax... One major aspect are syntax trees that are formed like this..." "Phonetics discusses where in the mouth different letters are pronounced..." etc. Are there any resources that explain the main ideas of a variety of linguistics subjects such as those I listed above? Thanks
